A multi-purpose blanket made from six layers of GOTS certified organic cotton crinkle gauze. Soft, breathable and lightweight, each piece is hand stitched with an inimitable thread baste stitch.

Organic cotton runs the risk of shrinking with washing because it has not been chemically treated. To avoid this, use cold wash or set your water temperature to a maximum of 30 degrees celsius.

MACHINE WASH. Separate white, dark, and coloured garments. Use a normal or mild detergent, and do not bleach. To maintain the fluffy, buoyant texture of the muslin cotton, re-shape while damp and air dry. Do not iron.

They are durable, breathable and above all, natural, only improving with age as they soften through use. Our cotton products are manufactured as naturally and ethically as possible by a small business based out of Northern China using OEKO-TEX certified fabric, meaning they are completely free from harmful chemicals. PHILE offers two domestic shipping options depending on when you wish to receive your order. All orders are processed by PHILE within 48 hours under normal circumstances.

International shipping is a flat-rate of $50, and available for countries worldwide. Orders are shipped with Australia Post, with zoning determining delivery estimates.
Zone 1 – New Zealand can take 3-5 days.
Zone 2 – Asia, Western Europe, North America and the Pacific can take between 3-10 days.

A passion for fine fabrics led founder Anna Vidović to launch Philé in 2017, a curated collection of serviceable finishes for the nursery. Her aim was to bridge luxury with accessibility, educating through experience the benefit of buying natural fabrics.
