Cashmere Baby Blanket in Indigo

Our cashmere baby blankets in deep navy are designed in Australia and made in Mongolia, offering a breathable layer of warmth for newborns and young children. Tuck one into a cot, pram or bed for a lightweight blanket you can use in all seasons.

Hypoallergenic Fabrics

Designed by our mum community

One size: 120 x 90cm.

Cashmere fibres are soft and hypoallergenic — much like sheep’s wool — but warmer and without the itch. The quality of cashmere is unsurpassed, and it can last a lifetime if cared for properly.

HAND WASH, ALWAYS. Fill your basin or bucket with tepid water and add one capful of gentle detergent per five litres of water. Submerge your cashmere piece entirely and gently swish the item around, then let it sit for 5 minutes. You can then drain the water and refill it with clear tepid water, and let it sit for a couple of minutes before repeating the above steps. Once it’s ready to rinse, place it directly under the tap and allow the room temperature water to gradually wash away the soap until it runs clear.

PRESS TO DRY. When fully drained, clump the cashmere into a loose ball and press it against the side of the tub or bucket to squeeze out excess water. Never wring or twist wet cashmere, as this will stretch the fibres. Lay your cashmere flat to dry away from direct sunlight.

FOLD, DON’T HANG. Store your cashmere pieces folded, as hangers and racks can stretch out the threads and warp the shape.

Since day one, PHILE has committed itself to foster mindful consumption habits, presenting collections that are lasting in both quality and style. We are highly aware that sustainability improvement is an ongoing process that is never finished. Each part of the value chain is important and all steps, small to big, have an impact on people, animals and our planet.

Our cashmere is sourced from a small privately-owned and operated Mongolian cashmere company who ethically source the raw cashmere fibres, spin the fibres into yarn, and then weave the yarn into our designs, with as little impact to the environment as possible.
